*THE OLDER STYLE HANDS HAVE A FLAT END BALL SOCKET, THAT TENDS TO CRACK OVER TIME.  WE'VE LOOKED OVER THESE PARTS CAREFULLY, AND ALSO TESTED THEM WITH A BALL END TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE NO BREAKS OR CRACKS.  THE NEWER STYLE IS MADE THICKER, AND IS VERY HARD TO BREAK.  YOU WILL FIND THAT ALL HERO FACTORY FIGURES USE THESE ALONG WITH ALL NEWER BIONICLE FIGURES.  THE NEWER STYLE CAN ALSO BE USED ON OLDER FIGURES, AS THEY FIT THE SAME.  I LEAVE THAT UP TO THE BUYER WHETHER THEY WANT TO KEEP ALL PARTS ORIGINAL.  ALSO THE NEWER STYLE IS USED ON ALL THE THEMED LARGE BUILDABLE FIGURES.
